SNAP REEL BANDS

Advantage Snap Protective Reel Bands provide additional protection for components that are packaged in tape and reel. Just “Snap” to use. They are designed to wrap around the outer layer of the carrier tape to withstand the pressure and to keep the carrier tape safe from crushing in transit or during the vacuum sealing process. These bands are perforated every 1.09m long for 13” reels, every 1.25m long for 15” reels and every 1.81m long for 22” reels. The perforated bands are supplied on 15” reels, which take up less space and are kept much cleaner compared with the bands that are singulated in a cardboard box which can become contaminated with particulate. They can be easily placed at the workstation. Bands are 1.0mm thick and made from conductive polystyrene material. They are available in EIA standard carrier tape widths from 8mm to 88mm.
